I found some of my old miniatures from a Japanese grocery store. This reminds me of how I got into mini things!
We lived in Japan for a month for Dad’s work when I was little. People kept telling my parents I looked like Kewpie doll. You know, the mayonnaise.
I remember bright colors at an indoor playground, and thinking the people were so nice. It’s where one of my little brothers took his first steps!
So when I found a Japanese grocery store in America as an adult, it made me remember things. They had this tiny yogurt drink and it tasted exactly like I remembered. It’s where I found Fruits and plenty of Rement miniatures!

This has grown into enjoying things like Sanrio characters. Not pictured: Those delightful 90’s stationary stores.

Finding these little things was so exciting. What a whimsical treat!
